Toys
This is an image of a collection of vintage toys that I stumbled upon in my attic. I arranged the toys in such a way that would give the viewer a sense of being forgotten and left to collect dust.

This photograph was taken inside of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Montecito, California. This church is a popular place for weddings due to its hand crafted wood and native feel, making their photos both unique and beautiful. Along with the beautiful interior, the church also offers beautifully landscaped courtyards for a stunning photographing experience.

This is a portrait of my friend, Alicia. For this portrait, a beauty dish was used to make this a glamour head shot. Afterwards, the image was cross-processed, giving it rich shades of blue, which makes the photo pop.

Kat
These are two portraits of my friend Kat, taken at Fort Washington State Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These were taken right as the sun was setting, during what is know as "sweet light." The image on the left was set up to give her the "S" curve, which emphasized the elegance of her figure. The image on the right was taken in the moment, while she placed flowers in her hair.

Century Plaza Tower
This is a photo of one of the iconic Century Plaza Towers in Los Angeles, California. I ventured into Los Angeles to capture photos of high rise buildings at sunrise. However, at my arrival it was too cloudy to capture any such photos. After waiting for hours and almost driving home, the sun finally peered through the clouds and cast light on the building. I positioned myself in front of the tower to exaggerate the height of the building.

Purse
Here is an image of a purse from Nine West. This was photographed to give the viewer the idea that it could be taken anywhere, and can be used for any situation. The wrought iron bench was the ideal location for this shot; it shows off the purse's elegance.

Sneakers
This is an image of running sneakers on a track in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To portray them as if in an advertisement, a water bottle and towel were added to market the product. Imagine running around the track with great speed and comfort, and a towel and refreshing bottle of water await when you're finished.

Smoke
Photographing smoke can be both fun and interesting to see how smoke moves with big and small loops, swirls, ripples, and lines. Smoke images are like snowflakes, no two are the same. For this image I used a purple gel to give it a pop of color and to make it more interesting.

Bug
This image is of a bug pin. I had to create an image using a piece of jewelry that was suitable as a magazine cover. I was given the magazine cover template and had to create a image that was designed to fit within it. This particular pin caught my attention and I instantly knew what I wanted the cover to look like.

Appletini
To create this image I used two Alien Bee strobes with soft boxes on each. I first made the drink then added the ingredients to the photo to show what goes in to creating this drink. I decided to photograph it from a higher angle to give the illusion that someone is about to enjoy this delicious Apple Martini.

Twilight
This is a detail architectural shot of a building on the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) campus. The tower and the bell was the first aspect of this building that caught my attention and made me really want to photograph it. I shot this during twilight because I thought it made the building more appealing and interesting.

Stairs
This is a stair case that leads to a walkway that brings you over the SEPTA train tracks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I shot this right as the sun had gone down and using the tungsten white balance setting. By using the tungsten white balance setting it made the lights color correct and made the sky a richer blue.

Mouse
This is an image of a computer mouse. This is just one image out of a series of six that was designed to show off an object in different ways. This particular image was my favorite from the series. I wanted to show the sleekness of the mouse, using White Lightning strobes I lit the mouse from the side so it would graze over the top.

Abandoned
These are images that were taken at an abandoned high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school was filled with lots of graffiti and left behind books, notebooks, graded papers, chairs, desks, and other random odds and ends. With all the windows broken and missing it was really cold inside and just in general had an eery feeling while walking around.

Fence
This is an image that I took while visiting a friend in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. These flowers caught my attention as we were talking up the path to the Truro Lighthouse. The abundance of flowers that had already bloomed and with them moving ever so swiftly with the wind showed the first signs of Spring. Enjoy.

Frozen
As my winter break comes to a close in Maryland, the weather starts getting colder and colder which reminds me of this image I took in New Jersey. This is a panorama of a lake at a park near Trenton, New Jersey that was completely frozen over. This lake was a good spot for ice fishing due to many that were there that day set up with their rods and tackle boxes.

Rhythm
This photograph takes me back to the days of high school and being in band. I was in the color guard for marching/field show season and then played clarinet during concert season. Marching/field show season was definitely my favorite time, I loved everything about it. This was taken in Hershey, Pennsylvania during a marching band championship. I wanted to show the movement and rhythm through the color guard.

Park
This is my favorite image that was taken during a recent photo session with my sister and her boyfriend. This was taken at the city park in Hagerstown, Maryland. It was pretty cloudy that day so I used my flash unit as a fill light with an umbrella.
