Mountains

One thing about California that I love, are the views. I found this amazing view one day while hiking on a mountainous trail in Los Padres National Park. The park covers approximately 1.75 million acres of central California.

Kelly

Kelly, one of my best friends, is one that I could use many words to describe: caring, thoughtful, beautiful, funny, passionate, strong, and much much more. One important word that describes Kelly is 'Photographer'. Kelly Slezak is an amazing photographer with her own unique style, and is known for her dead animal images. She is very passionate and dedicated when it comes to her photography, and will go to great lengths to get the perfect shot.

Grand Canyon

This is an image of the Grand Canyon National Park. I found this little alcove while venturing along one of the many trails. The view from this location was absolutely breathtaking, I could have stayed there for hours.

Kat

These are two portraits of my friend Kat, taken at Fort Washington State Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These were taken right as the sun was setting, during what is know as "sweet light." The image on the left was set up to give her the "S" curve, which emphasized the elegance of her figure. The image on the right was taken in the moment, while she placed flowers in her hair.

Bird

This is a photograph of a Green Heron that I found at the harbor in Santa Barbara, California. I decided to make the photo black and white to emphasis the mood that I felt from the bird. What mood does the bird make you feel?

Frozen

As my winter break comes to a close in Maryland, the weather starts getting colder and colder which reminds me of this image I took in New Jersey.  This is a panorama of a lake at a park near Trenton, New Jersey that was completely frozen over.  This lake was a good spot for ice fishing due to many that were there that day set up with their rods and tackle boxes.

Spring

This is an image that I took for my Spring Catalog assignment in my Advanced Advertising class.  It was a challenge trying to find spring props in the middle of autumn along with trying to attach a necklace to a flower. After days of searching for props and hours of fixing the necklace and flower I finally ended up with this image.  Hope you enjoy.
